A.  Is an experienced roofing tradesman who has experience in the following roofing applications: 

    Applies all types of membrane roofing, hot and cold applied built up roofing systems, modified systems, standing seam metal roofing, shingles, slate and tile roofing, waterproofing and damp proofing systems.

   Has a good knowledge of rough carpentry and sheet metal skills, safety requirements and proper techniques for the removal of existing roofing systems. The Journeyman is familiar with the equipment and tools of the trade and can direct and train apprentices and helpers.
